Shoulder pathology

Dr. Stewart specializes in diagnosing and treating shoulder conditions to help you alleviate your pain, regain your mobility and function and improve your quality of life. He specialises in treating a range of shoulder issues, including rotator cuff issues, calcific tendonitis,  arthritis, frozen shoulder and shoulder instability.. 

  • Shoulder impingement
  • Fractures of the clavicle, shoulder joint, arm and forearm.
  • Arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder:
    • Acromioplasty
    • Bankart repair
    • Calcific tendonitis excision / decompression

Knee pathology

Dr Stewart has experience in treating a wide variety of knee issues both surgically and non-surgically. He specialises in treating ligament and tendon injuries, cartilage and meniscus injuries, arthritis and patella instability, as well as the following:

  • Total knee replacement
  • Recurrent dislocations of the patella / Medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) reconstruction
  • Repair / debridement of a meniscal tear
  • Arthroscopic microfracture for osteochondral lesions (cartilage injury)
